We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Last week was my birthday! So I have been celebrating a lot haha. My mom’s birthday is 2 days before mine so we had a lunch with a couple of her friends at my place. Then I had my actual birthday and when I came to work, a couple of my favorite coworkers had decorated my classroom. Two days later we had parent-teacher night and afterwards one of tose coworkers took me out for dinner as a birthday present. And then on Friday I hosted a little party, both for my birthday and as a belated housewarming. My brother took me to see Dune Part 2 as a present as well. I had a great weekend, I build my new LEGO set I got as a birthday present and watched Formula One.

I finished House of Flame and Shadow! At the moment I’m listening to Call Down the Hawk and I started my eARC of The Break-Up Pact. I have for once decided what I want to read next haha, after seeing Dune Part Two in the movietheather this weekend I really want to reread Dune and maybe also finally read the second book in the series.

I started watching Death and Other Stories on Disney+. After I finished Ted Lasso, I finally watched the second season of Ginny & Georgia. And last weekend I binged Hijack.

I have been listening to so much music lately, I hardly know where to begin sharing haha. One of the things I listened to was In The Height, I love singing (screaming) along to it so much. I have been listening to it on repeat haha.
