We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Work is still really busy (just 4 more days!) but I did have a fun weekend! I went snowboarding with 2 colleagues, one of them is also a snowboard instructor so I basically got a privet lesson. When I was young I had one week of snowboard lessons but still wasn’t able to do it so I went back to skiing. But I still wanted to learn and after three hours I was able to do it okayish! Can’t wait to practise it some more. Although I am also covered in bruises haha.

I actually got a ton of new eARC’s! Not great for my TBR but I’m really excited about these. I got Foul Days, You Can’t Spell Treason without Tea, Castle of the Cursed, Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies, The Break-Up Pact, The Spellshop, Four Eids and a Funeral and Medici Heist.

I finished House of Earth and Blood and I’m currently reading House of Sky and Breath. My current audiobooks are Darkdawn and After That Night. I’m really enjoying all of these and since I’ll have two weeks vacation after these last 4 days I hope to finish all of them soon.

I was embarrassed to admit that I had never seen the Star Wars movies but this past week I have finally watched the first trilogy! So IV, V & VI. It was really fun to watch these, the special effects are almost hilarious and I’m glad to finally understand more references. The rest of the movies are for sure on my to watch list!

It’s becoming super repetitive but it’s what keeps me going at the moment haha, so I have once again almost solely listening to Taylor Swift and Noah Kahan.
