We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

When this comes online it’s actually my birthday and the start of my two weeks off of work! We have some fun things planned. A few shopping trips, some birthdays, and the boyfriend and I want to go away for a day or two.

Nothing fun really happened the last couple of weeks. Mostly work and just hanging out. I did get a new name at Starbucks when I got a hot chocolate while waiting for my train home. It was cold out and I needed something to warm me up. I’ll definitely have more to update you about during my next reading update.

I have 4 new eARCS on my Kindle that I’m excited about. I really want to start them all!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: NerdCrush, Gild, Kingdom of the Wicked, A Not So Meet Cute, Before I Let Go, Quarterback Sneak, Their Vicious Darling, Muted, A Kingdom of Gods and Ruin, Secretly Yours, and The Missed Connection.

I’m currently reading: Things We Never Got Over, Glint, A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon, Court of the Undying Seasons, The Lies of Locke Lamora, and Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating.

Next I’ll be reading: Things We Hide From the Light, The New Girl, and Right Man, Right Time.

I have two cover reveals that I’m excited to share this week! They’re both stunning!

Again, nothing exciting to mention here. Last weekend we went and got new bedding and pillows for our new mattress (that won’t be here for a few months, haha).

It was my turn to pick a movie for our weekly movie night on Sunday and I chose Your Place Or Mine. I really enjoyed it and it was definitely my kind of movie.

I don’t know what made me think of it, but I was in the mood to listen to Blue. This is an older album and released in 2003, but I still enjoy the songs.
