We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

We’ve actually had a couple of busy weekends. The first weekend of December we went to see the boyfriend’s grandparents and then his parents. It was his mother’s birthday, so we went there for the afternoon and then dinner. We also got our Christmas tree last weekend. We will be decorating it some more, but we needed to get ornaments that were shatterproof.

Last weekend we went to our garden center to grab some Christmas stuff. They always have a whole Christmas village built and it’s so fun to go and look at. I could spend so much money there, haha. I love this time of year!

I only have one earc to tell you about this week. I got accepted for The Fiancee Farce.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: The Sleigh Bells Chalet, Two Wrongs Make a Right, Blood Like Fate, Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, Resting Scrooge Face, Lovelight Farms, A Kingdom of Flame and Fury, Shipped, The Christmas Wish, and Witcha Gonna Do?

I’m currently reading Carrie Soto is Back, A Kingdom of Frost and Fear, Talk Santa to Me, and Problem Child.

Next I’ll be reading So This is Christmas, The Mistletoe Bet, and Into the Crooked Place.

I didn’t keep an eye on bookish news this week. We do finally have a date for Daisy Jones and the Six. I can’t wait to see that as a TV.

As I mentioned earlier in this post, we went shopping on Saturday. We got some Christmas ornaments, fake candles, and a blanket (that I forgot to take a picture of and it’s in the washing machine now, haha).

We finished the first season of Wednesday and it was so good! There were so many twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I really hope we get another season.

Another Netflix Christmas movie appeared, The Noel Diary, and I had to watch it of course. This was definitely one of my favorites so far this year!

We’re getting closer to Christmas, so of course I’ve been listening to Christmas music non stop, haha.
