We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Well the vet was right! About a week after the incident that cats like each other again and can be in the same room. It’s like Shadow just turned off a switch and was ready to be normal again, haha. I’m very thankful for this, because it was an exhausting week!

After that we got a week of really warm weather, so not much happened. Besides work I stayed inside in front of my fan reading. I can’t wait until summer is over, haha. We also have some exciting things going on here. The boyfriend and I decided to change our guestroom/study into a library. We already started cleaning up a bit and I can’t wait to add bookshelves to that room!

I’ve added a few ARCs to my Kindle since my last Royal Update.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: My Mechanical Romance, It Happened One Summer, In the Weeds, The Wife Upstairs, The Godparent Trap, and My Killer Vacation.

I’m currently reading Broken Boys Can’t Love, Nyxia: Unleashed, Lessons in Chemistry, The Love Connection, and Kings of Quarantine.

Next I’ll be reading: Haunt Me, Every Summer After, Layla, and The Honeys.

There was one cover reveal that really caught my eye this week and I’m excited for The Fiancee Farce that releases next year.

I’m boring again this week with nothing to add to my shop log. With us changing our study/guestroom into a library I should have pictures of some things soon though.

This week I decided it was time to catch up on The Good Doctor. I love this show! And I finally finished the latest season of Grey’s Anatomy. I’m hoping to catch up on a few more before the new seasons of all the shows I love start again.

I don’t remember how I ended up adding James Bay to my Spotify list, but I’m glad I did. I got the notification for Leap and I love this album. For some reason I still can’t get Spotify links on my post, so I definitely recommend looking up the album!
