It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for the first WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?
Only When It’s Us & Always Only You – Chloe Liese
The Bergman Brothers series is a series I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about and decided to finally read them myself. I’ve listened to the audiobooks of Only When It’s Us and Always Only You and loved both of these books. Why did it take me so long to read this series?!? Our main characters aren’t perfect and these books are emotional at times, but they grab on to you and just don’t let go.
Reject Me – Kel Carpenter & Aurelia Jane
Reject Me is the first book in the new series Immortal Vices and Virtues. Starting in May a group of authors will be releasing a book every month for a year. All of them take place in the same world and are standalones. Reject Me was so much fun. It had an interesting world, amazing characters, a romance I loved, and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
The Shadow Princess – Sawyer Bennett
I’ve previously read sports romances by Sawyer Bennett, but nothing in her fantasy world. The Shadow Princess is a book I’m glad I sat down to read. The world and characters were really interesting and I loved learning about the magic system. I’ll definitely be reading the previous books in this series.
What are you currently reading?
A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J Maas
Okay, so I guess I’m on a Sarah J Maas kick. I’m also currently doing a reread of the Throne of Glass series, but a friend was talking about how much she loved A Court of Silver Flames I couldn’t resist adding it to my Kindle. I’m only 4 chapters in, but I’m interested to see how Nesta and Cass’ story will play out.
Club 22 – Tate James
So I can safely say I’m still addicted to Tate James’ books. The first two books in the Hades series were amazing and the third book isn’t disappointing so far. I got a little distracted, but I’m back on track to see what will happen. I’m so glad I already own the fourth book, so I can continue.
As Seen On TV – Meredith Schorr
As Seen On TV is pitched for fans of Gilmore Girls and the Hallmark Channel. I love Gilmore Girls and I’m a huge fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, so this book is definitely for me. I’m only a couple chapters in, but I can already tell I’m going to enjoy this one.
What do you think you’ll read next?
There were quite a few ARCs that sounded amazing to me releasing this month and I may have signed up for them all, haha. Oops! Thankfully some aren’t that long, so I’ll be busy, but I should get them all done.
Pretty Lies – Blake Blessing
I’ve just recently gotten into reading reverse harems and darker romances, so when I saw the sign up for Pretty Lies (it’s the first in a series and I believe the 4th book will be releasing soon) I had to sign up. Our main character’s parents move her to a new town hoping she’ll do as they please, but that doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen.
Lovely Bad Things – Trisha Wolfe
Look at the cover of Lovely Bad Things! It’s stunning! This book is a dark suspense romance and I have a feeling this is going to be twisted and have me shocked quite often. I’m going in mostly blind, but I’m excited!
So Not Meant to Be – Meghan Quinn
Meghan Quinn is an author I turn to when I want to laugh. So Not Meant to Be is an enemies to lovers romance and is a modern take on When Harry Met Sally. This author writes the longer books and this one is a little over 500 pages, so I’ll be able to enjoy it a bit longer.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday this week. What are you reading or have you recently read? Any amazing books I should check out? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
The Shadow Princess sounds interesting so I’ll definitely be checking that one out. I loved the cover too. Here’s my WWW post for this week.

So many books I’m interested in and will add to my TBR (or are already on it). I can’t wait to read the Chloe Liese’s romance series. I’m also currently (re)reading ACOSF, but I’m at the last part of the book, close to the end. Pretty Lies, Lovely Bad Things (I’ve been into dark romances and reverse harem too😉), and As Seen On TV sounds good, I added it to my TBR.
Have a great week 🌈

I just finished The Kissing Bug and I’m partway through Ordinary Monsters. Really solid reads, both of them!
I am curious about Lovely Bad Things. Enjoy! Here’s MY WWW POST
