We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
It’s been another couple of quiet weeks. Working and relaxing at home with the kitties and my books. I’m actually typing this a little earlier than normal (Thursday instead of Sunday), because we’re visiting the boyfriend’s parents at the house they’re renting for a week of vacation this weekend.
So hopefully I’ll have some pictures of that for my next Royal Update!
Depending on how you look at it these past two weeks have either been really good or bad, haha. I added 13 new ARCs to my Kindle and I’m excited for them all.
Since my last royal update I finished reading: The Summer Proposal, Dead Girls Never Talk, It’s Not Summer Without You, Crown of Midnight (re-read), Anarchy and All My Rage.
I’m currently reading Club 22, Only When It’s Us, All Downhill With You, We’ll Always Have Summer, and Heir of Fire (re-read).
I’ll be starting Not the Witch You Wed, Lair of Dreams, and Reject Me.
I actually don’t have any bookish news to share this week. I’m sure I saw a few things, but nothing that really had me thinking I need to share this now.
I haven’t bought anything recently that can be shared here. My bookhaul is huge though, so keep a look out for that later this week. Oops!
I recently watched Senior Year when it released on Netflix. It was a fun movie to just sit back and watch. Sometimes I need movies that don’t need much thought. This will definitely be a movie I return to when I need a laugh.
When the boyfriend went to game night last week I started watching The Staircase with my mother. We watched the first four episodes. It’s based on a true story and it’s interesting to see how this case was brought to life on screen.
Harry Styles is an artist that I enjoy songs from here and there, so I was curious when his new album released, Harry’s House. Some of the songs are a bit weird, but all in all I do enjoy these songs.
So that’s my Royal Update for this week! How have you been? Read or watch anything good? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
