5 On My TBR | Secrets

I just did a Down the TBR Hole post yesterday, but that’s only my digital TBR. It’s also good to keep an eye on my physical one. Which is also way too big, haha. We found a fun weekly meme to do this: 5 On My TBR. This meme is hosted by Local Bee Hunter’s Nook.

This week’s theme is Secrets. I love books with family secrets or any other type of secrets. It’s always fun trying to figure them out. Here are five books with secrets that I have on my shelves. Let’s take a look!

Five Dark Fates – Kendare Blake

So this is actually the final book of the Three Dark Crowns series, but it’s filled with secrets. A lot happens to these three sisters trying to take the throne. I’m actually surprised I haven’t read Five Dark Fates yet, because I love these books.

Everless – Sara Holland

Everless has definitely been on my TBR way too long! This book released in 2018 and I actually met the author and had my book signed. So why haven’t I read it yet?!? Haha. This book sounds like one intense adventure.

As Good As Dead – Holly Jackson

The first two books in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder were amazing and I’ve been putting off reading the final book, because I’m sad it’s going to be over, haha. As Good As Dead seems to actually be the most intense part of the series yet. Our main character is being stalked and has to figure out who it is.

Sadie – Courtney Summers

Sadie is a book that released quite some time ago (2018) and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things. Even though this sounds like it’s going to be a very emotional read. Our main character is determined to find out who killed her sister. I love the fact that it’s also told through podcasts as well. I’m still deciding if I want to follow along with the audiobook while reading this.

They Wish They Were Us – Jessica Goodman

A murder mystery set at an exclusive prep school. Seeing how I love books in boarding schools I have a feeling this prep school will do as well. Our main character gets a text that the wrong person is behind bars for her best friend’s murder. That sounds like it’s going to be interesting. I know Isabelle enjoyed it, but They Wish They Were Us wasn’t her favorite book.

So here are five books on my TBR that have some type of secrets. What are your favorite books with secrets? Or have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
