We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is Books with [___] On the Cover and I decided to go with animals. I tried a specific animal but I came up short with my own books haha. So I decided to go with animals in general. Let’s see which ones I picked!
This Is How You Lose the Time War // The Raven King // Rule of Wolves // City of Ghosts // Three Dark Crowns // One Dark Throne // Crooked Kingdom // King of Scars // Saga // Riders
These are all gorgeous books on my shelves I have read. And these are also all books I really liked, I might even say most of these are favorites of mine. I love getting beautiful books and you can’t go wrong with an animal on it. Especially not an illustration of one!

This was a short post but I didn’t feel like talking about each cover separately as I would be repeating myself over and over haha. What do you think of these covers? And did I miss any good covers with animals on it? Let me know in the comments!
Great fun list. I’m an animal lover, and I really enjoyed your spin on this week’s prompt.
And I’m super biased because 3 of the books on your list are among my favorite books: Crooked Kingdom, King of Scars, and Rule of Wolves.😊😉

Good list! I like the one with the cardinal bird on it. I have many that come to our feeders and they have several different pretty bird calls.
It’s always nice to see animals on covers. 🙂

I tried a few different animals until I came up with crows, sometimes it’s not what you expect to be on so many covers!
Nice choices

It’s fun to look at these and see all of the different ways animals can be used on a cover.
The Zebra on the cover of Saga always reminds me of Fruit Stripe gum 😂
I always loved the cover for Raven King! And Saga is pretty darned awesome!
