We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
Last time I talked about life getting more exciting again and that trend is holding true haha. The past two weeks I’ve had some fun times! Another friend turned 30 and she threw a big party. We had a lot of fun, I danced a bunch and went to sleep at 5. As you can imagine I spend Sunday in bed with a couple of movies haha. Last week I also had 2 concerts! One was by a Dutch couple, they have really good songs and it was great seeing them on stage. It was a fun evening but since it was on Wednesday, getting up the next day was somewhat hard haha. Friday I had another concert, really small but still a fun evening. We also went to a pub in Utrecht afterwards. This coming week I have 2 more concerts! I think it’ll slow down a bit after that but I still have a couple coming this year haha.
Still no new eARC’s, but I haven’t been requesting anything either. It’s nice to have some time to catch up again.
I finished The King’s Men and that concluded the All for the Game series, although I kind of want to start over again haha. After that I finally picked House of Earth and Blood back up and finished it last weekend. What a read! I’m immediately starting House of Sky and Breath and will resume reading Gallant afterwards.
I’ve started watching Moon Knight, wow those first episodes were good! This past week I’ve also started catching up on Roswell, New Mexico and All American. And I started the new season of Elite, after finishing season 2 of Bridgerton. I’ve also watched a couple of movies, one of them being Death On the Nile.
I follow LiveLaughLyds on Tiktok, she makes F1 content and I really like her stuff. She also made some Spotify playlist, this one is especially for Papaya fans (McLaren fans) and I’ve been loving it! So this one has been on repeat non stop haha.
This was a bit of a shorter one but I hope you still enjoyed it. Have you been to anything exciting lately? And what have you been reading? Let me know in the comments!
I’m so glad you’ve been able to get out and enjoy yourself. I’m so happy concerts are back and have been buying quite a few tickets.
