We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The last two weeks really haven’t been that exciting honestly. Mostly just working, hanging around at home reading and cuddling the kitties. Things are slowly opening back up here, but with the cold and gray weather I’m staying inside, haha.

Since my last royal update I’ve added three e-arcs to my Kindle!

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading: The Vanderbeekers of 141st Street, Honest June, Coming Back, If This Gets Out, Under the Whispering Door, Hazel Blue and the Deep Blue Sea, The Hating Game, and Girls of Paper and Fire.

At the moment I’m currently reading: The Case for Jamie, Only a Monster, The Awakening, and House of Earth and Blood.

This week I’ll be reading All the Feels, Daisy Jones and The Six, Weather Girl, and The Roughest Draft.

This week I have six cover reveals that have me really excited! 2022 seems like it’s going to be another year filled with amazing books!

We finally got the scratching post we’ve wanted for the cats. It wasn’t available for a few weeks, but when it popped online my boyfriend ordered it right away. They’ve been happy with it. Even if they’ve been fighting each other over the favorite sleeping spots.

On top of all the other shows I watch I started two new ones recently. Good Sam was one Isabelle talked about recently and I had to give it a go. The first two episodes were really good and I can’t wait to see more.

Also, How I Met Your Father premiered. It’s definitely different than How I Met Your Mother, but I really enjoyed the first two episodes!

Since reading Tripped by Love and listening to the playlist created by the author. Maren Morris is an artist I discovered on there and I’ve been listening to her album Girl.
