I can’t believe it’s time for my last TBR of 2021! It was another complicated year, but it was filled with a lot of amazing books. With Christmas around the corner I love reading more holiday related stories, but there will be a few other titles on my TBR. Keep on reading for my full December TBR.
Buddy Reads
As usual I have quite a few buddy/group reads planned. Here are actually only a few. I always end up with more than I initially plan, but it’s always fun!
The Holiday Switch – Tif Marcelo
If I’m honest the cover is the first thing that caught my attention. Our main characters switch phones and learn a lot about the other. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun holiday read. From what I understand the main character has a book blog, so that makes it even more fun.
Blame It on the Mistletoe – Beth Garrod
Two very different girls swap lives for a Christmas adventure. Switching lives with a social media influencer will definitely be a change. This definitely gives me The Holiday vibes and I’m excited to read it near the Christmas tree.
Duke, Actually – Jenny Holiday
Duke, Actually is described as a romance between a playboy baron and a woman who has said goodbye to love. You know these two are going to fall in love, but I can’t wait to see how they get there.
ARCs/Book Tours
December doesn’t have too many releases and is definitely a slower month. I have a few ARCs, but these are definitely two I plan on reading in December. There are a few more holiday themed books on my list, so I’ll probably read more than just these.
The Mistletoe Motive – Chloe Liese
I was sold on the cover. I mean it’s Christmassy and has a bookshelf! A slow-burn, enemies to lovers, holiday romance? Yes, please!! That sounds like everything I want and need in a story. Add a bookstore and it honestly couldn’t get better.
The Love Con – Seressia Glass
The Love Con is a romantic comedy with a nerdy main character and I love the description. The main character loves anime, gaming, and cosplay and asks her best friend to pretend to be her boyfriend. We can all tell what’s going to happen, but I’m looking forward to the journey.
Other Holiday Reads
I love everything Christmas as you probably already know. Besides the reads I have planned and the few ARCs there are a few releases I’d really love to read this month.
The Naughty, The Nice and The Nanny – Willa Nash
A single father in the need of a nanny. The nanny happens to be someone he knows from high school and she had a crush on him. The only problem was him not realizing she existed. I have a feeling this is going to be a fun read!
Three Bells, Two Bows and One Brother’s Best Friend – Willa Nash
Falling for your brother’s best friend is always an interesting trope in the romance world. I have a feeling this book is going to be a lot of fun and give me the cheer I really want this time of year.
A Partridge and a Pregnancy – Willa Nash
Christmas Eve just got interesting when our main character has to tell her one night stand she’s pregnant. I know this may be awkward, but I’m curious to see how it all plays out. I have a feeling this book will have everything I want in a romance.
The Geek Who Saved Christmas – Annabeth Albert
I recently read Conventionally Yours by this author and when I saw this one I knew I needed to read it this December. The cover is adorable! This book apparently has neighbors to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, and found family. I love the happily ever afters, so it’s a must for December.
This is a smaller TBR than I normally make, but with the holidays coming I’ll also be watching lots of Christmas movies and spending time with family. Also, I want to give myself a chance to really mood read this month when it comes to Christmas books or other books that catch my eye. What are you reading next month? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.
Have a great December! Loving the books on your TBR, so much Christmas, definitely want to read Love Con and Mistletoe Motive as well!
What wonderful looking Christmas reads. I hope you enjoy them!
Fun choices. I really need to get The Geek Who Saved Christmas as I love that author!
