Last day of my vacation! So I thought it would be fun to do a travelling themed book tag. And that’s when I found The Europe Traveller Book tag over on The Bookish Garden. So let’s take a look at those questions.
France – Your favourite love story
Starting off with a hard one! I don’t read that many romance books but I have read quite some love stories. And I have a couple of absolute favorites. In the end I went with To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. I adore the couple so much and related to Lara Jean a lot! And now I want to watch the movies again haha.
Spain – A colourful cover
I don’t think I own a more colorful book than Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi. At some point I did try to read it but I didn’t really get into the story. I might try again but if I still don’t like it, I guess I’ll have to unhaul it…..
Italy – A book taking place in Summer
One of the books on my TBR I for sure know is set in summer is The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. I really enjoyed her previous book I read and I do own 2 of her other books. Hopefully I will pick them up soon haha.
Greece – A book with mythology
The first book that came to mind was Lore by Alexandra Bracken. I’m super excited to read this one. Alexandra wrote one of my favorite series and I hope this story will be just as good. I really like books with mythology so I have high hopes.
Belgium – A book with politics
So I’m cheating and I’m going to talk about another one of my favorite love stories ;). There’s definitely some politics in Red, White & Royal Blue so I also totally counts for this one haha.
Ireland – A book with a strong friendship group
SIX OF CROWS! SIX OF CROWS! SIX OF CROWS! I adore the crows so so so much and this duology is one of my absolute favorites ever. The tv show is amazing and I can’t wait for the second season. Maybe’ll I reread the books again for the second season haha.
The Netherlands – Flowers on the cover!
A thriller that has been on my TBR for quite a while is Black Eyed Susans. And look at all those flowers! I have been wanting to read this book for so long and I can’t believe I still have it on my TBR.
Germany – A book taking place at Christmas
10 Blind Dates! Ugh, I loved this book so much! And I really want to read the companion novel really soon. I loved the family dynamics and it was all so cute. Just thinking about all of this makes me want to read the book again haha.
And that was the book tag! Apparently there’s also a second part so I might do that one next. Also, please give me some recommendations for books with politics because I couldn’t think of any!
Great picks! I haven’t read all of them but heard good things 😀
