5 On My TBR| Autumn Reads

A couple of weeks a go we started doing the 5 On My TBR bookish meme and it was a lot of fun, so we want to bring this meme to the blog more regularly! This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. This week’s prompt is actually red covers, but I loved the prompt they had last week. So today I decided to talk about 5 Autumn Reads on my TBR. Let’s take a look!

Five Dark Fates – Kendare Blake

I associate this whole series with Autumn. They all released in September, so it makes sense. Five Dark Fates has been out for a year and I still haven’t finished this series. I really want to know how everything turns out for Katharine, Arsinoe and Mirabella. Now to decide if I want to do a reread of the whole series before reading the last book.
Little Creeping Things – Chelsea Ichaso
Little Creeping Things is a book I saw all over Instagram and it really caught my attention and it’s been calling me to read it. The cover is really creepy and it seems like the perfect read for a dark and windy day of reading. Autumn is the perfect time for that.
Mexican Gothic – Silvia Moreno-Garcia
I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about Mexican Gothic and how atmospheric it is. Those are the perfect books for this time of year! Gothic stories tend to be a bit darker, so I’m excited for the ride.
Now Entering Addamsville – Francesca Zappia
Eliza and Her Monsters is a favorite of mine, so I was very excited when the author announced this book. I love the cover of Now Entering Addamsville and it gives me some spooky vibes. Add a ghost hunting TV show and this definitely checks off another box on the perfect Autumn reads list.
Tunnel of Bones – Victoria Schwab
I should be ashamed Tunnel of Bones is still on my TBR, because I really loved City of Ghosts!!! Part of me is really happy I saved it for this time of year. Cassidy Blake is off to Paris with her parents. This should be interesting!
I’m really looking forward to the sun setting earlier and it being a bit colder, so I can curl up with these five books. I love that all of the covers have Autumn vibes as well. What Autumn reads are on your list? Let me know in the comments!
