Giveaway| 500 Followers Giveaway

We’ve been blogging for awhile now and even though we do this for ourselves, it’s fun having the book community around that interact with us. Today we want to celebrate us getting to 500 WordPress followers! We’re so proud of this, because our follow button didn’t work for quite some time, haha.

To celebrate we wanted to do a small giveaway for our followers, keep on reading to find out more!

We would’ve never gotten to 500 followers without you! We wanted to share some love for this milestone. So we’ve decided to do a small giveaway. The winner will be able to choose a book of choice from Book Depository (max of 20 euros), so you can participate if Book Depository ships to your country.

To participate you have to be following us on WordPress and answer the following question:

What has been your favorite 2020 read so far and why?

For extra entries, you can also follow us on Instagram and Twitter.

When you answer that question, let us know under what name you’re following us with. We know our blog has issues with letting people comment at times, so if you want to participate, but can’t comment. Either send us a DM on Instagram or e-mail us at thebookdutchesses@gmail.com

Our giveaway will be open for a week, so you can answer this question until May 5th! After we announce the winner (check back on the blog for the announcement), we will give the winner a week to e-mail us. If that person doesn’t respond, we’ll pick a new winner! May the odds be in your favor!!

Again, a big thanks to everyone who has followed us, left comments or have just made this bookish adventure so much fun. The bookish community is a really amazing place to be. Cheers to the next 500 followers!

  1. What has been your favorite 2020 read so far and why? >>> I loved A Heart of Blood and Ashes by Milla Vane. It swept me up in it’s fantasy world and romance and I couldn’t stop reading!

  2. I absolutely loved The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes. I never expected to enjoy it as much as I did. The story showed how life used to be for women in the earlier times, but still manages to show strong women who fight back. I thought it was such an empowering book.

  3. Congratulations to you both for 500 followers! That’s incredible 🎉❤️🎉

As for your giveaway question, I’ve reading quite a few amazing books this year already, but I think top honors goes to RAYBEARER by Jordan Ifueko. It’s just so freakin’ good!

Thanks for running this giveaway 😊

  4. Congrats!! That’s so exciting!

A Curse So Dark and Lonely. It was my first 5 star read this year. It’s such an interesting take on Beauty and the Beast and my favorite so far!

  5. Congrats!

And From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L Armentrout. It is my first and (so far) only 5 star read this year. I couldn’t put it down, it was incredible and I read it weeks ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it!! 💕

  6. Congratulations you two, I’m so happy for you, it’s amazing!! xx

As for the giveaway question, now that’s really hard to answer aha, but I think I’m going to have to go with Away With the Penguins by Hazel Prior just because this book seriously gives you all the feels and it was so heartwarming and beautifully written!

  7. Oh… so many books already. I think The Princess will Save You is my favorite. A “retelling” of A Princess Bride – can’t go wrong with that. 🙂 And my students will enjoy it — romance.

  8. Congrats on 500! That is super awesome! My favorite book so far this year is The Last Wish!

  9. Congrats! My favorite read so far was probably Devoted by Dean Koontz, it stared a dog, so it gets points for that lol, but also I just love Koontz writing!

  10. Again: congrats ladies!! Such a fantastic accomplishment ❤ You deserve it with all the love you put into putting new content on here on a daily base.

My favorite this year so far is without a doubt Dark Skies by Danielle L. Jensen – knowing I also read the newest Cassandra Clare, Jennifer L. armentrout and Sarah J. Maas that says A LOT I think haha. Danielle’s become a favorite of mine last year, when I started reading her books. I’ve devoured everything she’s written so far and I can’t recommend her enough. Dark Skies was just perfection and has everything you could’ve wish to get out of a reading experience. I think both of you would absolutely love her books, and this one in particular.

Thanks so much for the opportunity! Great giveaway to celebrate!
