We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.
Murderbot returns in its highly-anticipated, first, full-length standalone novel.
You know that feeling when you’re at work, and you’ve had enough of people, and then the boss walks in with yet another job that needs to be done right this second or the world will end, but all you want to do is go home and binge your favorite shows? And you're a sentient murder machine programmed for destruction? Congratulations, you're Murderbot.
Come for the pew-pew space battles, stay for the most relatable A.I. you’ll read this century.—I’m usually alone in my head, and that’s where 90 plus percent of my problems are.
When Murderbot's human associates (not friends, never friends) are captured and another not-friend from its past requires urgent assistance, Murderbot must choose between inertia and drastic action.
Drastic action it is, then.

Your might remember me raving about the Murderbot Diaries a while ago. Now it’s almost time for the concluding full length novel! The Murderbot Diaries consisted of 4 novella’s about the very anti social Murderbot. I loved the character of Murderbot and was super excited to find out there was a full length novel coming in this series. And it’s almost here!
I haven’t read the synopsis yet and I don’t think I will. Since I already know I love this series I don’t really care what its about exactly and this way I will be somewhat surprised. The first books in the series are pretty short so I might reread them before getting to this one. I have seen only positive and raving reviews so I very high hopes. It’s nice to get the details clearly in my mind before reading Network Effect.
Had you heard of this series yet? And did you read any of the books in the series? Or do you want to now? Come talk to me in the comments!
I loved the first Murderbot novella when I read it last month, can’t wait to get through the remaining three. I had no clue this new release was going to be a full-length novel but Wells has certainly proven by now she’s got a world and character both imaginative enough to make this one a hell of a read.

I think the first one was my favorite but all four were great! Murderbot is amazing and I’m so excited for this new full length one <3
