TTT #119| Swoonworthy Romances

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is a Love Freebie. It’s Valentine’s Day on Friday, so I definitely understand this choice. That’s why I decided to talk about ten Swoonworthy Romances.

Red, White & Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston If I remember correctly, I’ve definitely mentioned this book a few times in multiple Top Ten Tuesdays, haha. It’s just that good! This romance is so swoonworthy and the characters are amazing. I laughed, cried and swooned. I couldn’t get enough of this story.

Let’s Get Textual – Teagan Hunter Who knew texting could make such a fun story and turn into a romance? I’ma big fan of books that have e-mails and texts or anything like that. If you’re looking for a swoonworthy romance filled with this that makes you laugh out loud, definitely pick up this series!

The Bromance Book Club – Lyssa Kay Adams Another romance that I’ve mentioned quite a few times! Any books that involve characters that love books, read books or do something with books make me happy. This book is about two characters finding their way back to each other and romance books help them along. I laughed and swooned and can’t wait for the second book.

Get a Life, Chloe Brown – Talia Hibbert This book is everywhere at the moment and deserves all the hype it’s getting. It’s pleasant to finally get more romances that don’t have perfect characters. That makes them feel much more realistic and maybe even leave a bigger smile on my face. Both of these characters are worthy of love and they find each other when they don’t expect it.

Snug: A Collection of Comics About Dating Your Best Friend – Catana Chetwynd Instead of a romance like the ones I just talked about, this is a collection of comics. These comics show us moments in the artist’s relationships and they’re so relatable. I know I’ll definitely pick these up over and over again!

Under the Bridge – Julia Wolf If I’m honest, this whole series is amazing! All of them are swoonworthy, but Ian has a special place in my heart. After being the quite and maybe even most complicated character, he finally gets his own happily ever after. Both characters are quirky, but fit together perfectly. It was fun reading about them falling in love.

Forged by Sacrifice – LJ Evans Okay, this author always knows how to hit you in all the feels. Amazing characters that you won’t forget after finishing the story. What makes these books extra special is that every chapter has a title that’s a song we all know and love. These playlists make the book extra swoonworthy!

Off the Record – Taylor Danae Colbert Who can say no to a rockstar romance? I know I can’t! This isn’t your typical rockstar romance, but it’s still amazing. I love the characters and the plot! My only complaint was that it was too short. I need more!

What I Need – J. Daniels The whole Alabama Summer series is amazing, but CJ has a special place in my heart. I think he’s my favorite out of all of them. I loved  this book so much, I even have a hoodie related to this one! J. Daniels knows how to hit you in all the feels and I still can’t choose what her best love story is!

Kate – Jennifer Hanks There are a lot of different romances that I love, but Kate is a fresh start and love isn’t even the first thing our main character is thinking of. Luke doesn’t care that she’s not taking his hints, but he won’t give up. I have to say he’s one my favorite bookboyfriends and this family is one I would love to be a part of!

These are ten of my favorite swoonworthy romances and I would recommend reading every single one of these. I know that I’ll eventually come back to these books for a reread! What’s your favorite swoonworthy romance? I’d love to know. Also, if you wrote your own love freebie this week, feel free to leave your links in the comments!

  1. Right now I’m absolutely adoring the Demigod Complex. It’s a rerelease from a novella to a longer romance. I am loving this main couple and I’m excited to see where they go. The demigod in the story is just so swoon-worthy.

  2. Great picks, as always!! Honestly, I have to restrain myself sometimes from including Red, White & Royal Blue too much because it’s just so good and so swoon worthy and I LOVE THAT NOVEL SO FREAKING MUCH. (Clearly, if I’m shouting. Which, by the way, sorry for shouting!!)
