Wishlist Wednesday | Anticipated Releases December

The last month of the year is starting soon! This year has flown by and it has been gifting us allll of the amazing book releases. Most of these posts were filled with many, many, manyyyyy books but in the month of December there are just a couple of books we’re interested in. But even though there aren’t as many, they still do deserve the attention! So let’s take a look at our most anticipated released for December.

Scared Little Rabbits – A.V. Geiger (December 3rd)

We both loved A.V. Geiger’s Follow Me Back duology so of course we’re excited for this one. Even without reading what it’s about this is one we need to read. Luckily the synopsis also sounds interesting. Hopefully it will be as good as Follow Me Back!

Reverie – Ryan La Sala (December 3rd)

I actually have an earc for this one! The cover looks gorgeous and I should really try to read it this week. This is marketed as Inception meets The Magicians and I’m intrigued. We also get this line: This wildly imaginative debut explores what happens when the secret worlds that people hide within themselves come to light. I’m sure this going to be a super interesting read!

Children of Virtue and Vengeance – Tomi Adeyemi (December 3rd)

It took me awhile to pick up the first book in this series, Children of Blood and Bone but I ended up enjoying it a lot. There have been some delays for this release and I don’t remember everything from the first book. I do want to read this sequel though and I’m excited to see what Tomi does with this world next.

Dangerous Alliance: An Austentacious Romance – Jennieke Cohen (December 3rd)

I keep saying I need to read more historical fiction and then I heard about Dangerous Alliance. Having a main character that loves books is something I always love to read about. This is definitely a good one to continue introducing myself to this genre with. And the cover is pink and pretty!

Hearts, Strings and Other Breakable Things – Jacqueline Firkins (December 17th)

This book is recommended for fans of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Just seeing that I knew I needed it before reading what the book is all about. Hearts, Strings and Other Breakable Things seems to have a love triangle. Those can be hit or miss, so I’m curious to see what the story brings.

The Long Distance Playlist – Tara Eglington (December 20th)

I’m a big fan of books with e-mails, texts, etc. and that happens in this story, so I know I need it. As a contemporary fan, a book about romances like this. I love when characters find each other again and it evolves in to what it should be all along. Sounds like the perfect book to read during the dark winter days!

Only 6 releases this time! But some super exciting ones luckily. And before we know it, it’s 2020. 2019 has granted us some amazing reads, let’s hope this last month has a couple more wonderful ones. Are you excited for any of these releases? Or did we miss any you can’t wait to read? Let us know in the comments!
