We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is super fun! We have to pick Book Titles With Number in Them. And you could either do this 10 random numbers, or go from 1 to 10. Of course I decided to go that route haha. I’d thought it would be pretty difficult, turns out, I had quite some options for most of the numbers haha. Let’s take a look and see which books I picked!
The Tenth Girl – Sara Faring
Of course I had to pick the Tenth Girl! I was part of the blog tour last week so it was the first book to come to mind for the number 10. The cover looks super cool and creepy. It really gives you that spooky vibe you want in a book in this time of year!
Gideon the Ninth – Tamsyn Muir
I was debating wether to go for this one or for Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, but I have a Leigh Bardugo pick later on so I went with Gideon! This book sounds amazing and I’m starting a buddyread with Candyce and another friend of ours next week. Super excited for this one!
The Last 8 – Laura Pohl
I was planning on reading this one, but I’m not so sure anymore. While it does sound interesting I also think it could be a very cliched story. None of my friends have read it so I’ll wait a bit longer before deciding on it.
The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle – Stuart Turton
This was one of my favorite books last year! I adored this mystery thriller so much, it was written wonderfully and I loved the ending. This is an adult read and possibly the best whodunnit I’ve ever read.
Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo
And here is the Leigh Bardugo pick! I couldn’t not go for Six of Crows haha. This is one of my favorite books and I’m so excited for the Netflix show. Also super excited for the conclusion to the King of Scars duology.
The Fifth Wave – Rick Yancey
It’s been quite a while since I read the Fifth Wave and I still haven’t read the rest of the series. I’m not sure I ever will. It seems like most people like the first book best so I might just keep at it that one haha.
Four – Letter Word – Christa Desir
This cover is pretty ugly in my opinion haha, but the synopsis sound super cool! It’s a YA mystery with a bit of a game element thrown in. This one seems to get a pretty average rating from a lot of people and I think it will be just an enjoyable story.
Three Dark Crowns – Kendare Blake
Three Dark Crowns was a pretty obvious choice for this number, as I adore this series so much! I’m currently listening to the audiobook for the last book, but I’m super scared to finish it haha. This series had a wonderful concept and I’m just scared to be disappointed by the ending.
Two Can Keep a Secret – Karen McManus
I’ve read two Karen McManus books so far and I liked this one best. These aren’t the best YA mysteries out there but there pretty decent. Her other book, that will now get a sequel, is also being made into a tv show. It will be very interesting to see that one!
One Bad Witch – Danielle Garrett
And lastly for the number one spot is the most recent book I read in my favorite magical cosy mystery series. These books are a lot of fun and I especially love listening to the audiobooks in the autumn. Cosy mysteries are always super fast and fun reads and this being a supernatural one makes it even better.
These were my ten picks for books titles with numbers in them! Have you read any of these? Or did a put a couple on your radar? Come talk to me in the comments!
Great choices and I love that you went in order.
Thank you!
I can’t wait to get to Five Dark Fates! And I really liked Two Can Keep A Secret. 🙂
I’m so scared to continue reading Five Dark Fates haha, hope we both love it!
So many of these are on my TBR – One Bad Witch looks adorable! I want to start to try some of these cozy looking books. I’ve never read one and I feel like my life is missing something!
They are so much fun! Just a quick fun read for when you don’t want to think to much about what you’re reading haha.
Oh, you actually made it with the 1-10 list. I didn’t manage that. Why is it, that when you need to think of a book for a special topic nothing comes to mind?
I really wanna read Evelyn Hardcastle at some point. Even though that might still take a while.
oh it can be so hard! I usually have to do some googling haha. My mind just goes blank as soon as I start a post. Evelyn Hardcastle is so so good, hope you do pick it up!
Great list! Six of Crows made my list this week, too, and I can’t wait to read Gideon the Ninth. It sounds bonkers and brilliant. 😀
Totally agree! Hope we love it!
This is so much fun! I love that you put them in order.
Thank you!
I’m super curious about The Tenth Girl myself.

Hope you enjoy it when you pick it up!
Great choices 🙂 I think SoC might be a popular one this week–I’ve already seen it a few times and I also had it on my list! I can’t wait to read some of these other ones (like Gideon)!
My TTT post
Haha yes, I was expecting it to be on a lot of lists! Haha
OK it is so clever the way you’ve done this post! I love how you’ve done 1-10 in book titles. Gideon the Ninth is on my TBR too.

Haha thank you! I had a lot of fun picking these out! Hope we both enjoy Gideon. Did you see the cover for the sequel? It looks great!
Six of Crows is going to be popular today, I think! Also, I love a good paranormal cozy, so I’ll be checking out One Bad Witch.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Oh wow, The Tenth Girl sounds perfect for a dark and stormy (or spooky!) night read. Good timing.
