I am all for Christmas in July, but even for me it’s a bit weird to be typing a blog tour post for a book that takes place around Christmas time. We’re in the middle of a heat wave, haha. That didn’t make me enjoy Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa any less though. Any books and movies that have any holiday spirit make me happy!
A big thanks to Inkslinger PR and the author for providing me with an ARC to read and review!

Return to Evergreen,
the town where Christmas wishes come true…
But only if you know what your heart really wants.
When Lisa takes a last-minute Christmas trip to her hometown of Evergreen, she finds that the historic general store has closed. The place was a beloved local tradition, and she decides to use her skills as a professional retail designer to bring it back to its former glory. She charms a local contractor, Kevin, into working with her, and the pair find themselves facing one surprise after another.
One of the biggest surprises of all is finding the mysterious 25-year-old letter to Santa that never made it to the North Pole. Who really wrote it, and will its request come true at last? And will Lisa and Kevin figure out what they’re truly wishing for?
This sweet small-town romance includes a free Hallmark original recipe for Incredible Apple Dumplings.

As a big fan of Hallmark Christmas movies, I knew I needed to read this when I saw this title. It’s actually pretty funny, because I actually watched this movie not too long ago when my internet was down. When I think of Hallmark Christmas movies, I think of feel good stories with a happy ending and this book didn’t disappoint either.
Lisa lived in Evergreen for a bit when she was younger and after quite a few years, she’s headed back there again for Christmas. She travels a lot for work and hasn’t settled down in one place. She’s a professional retail designer and love what she does.
Kevin is a contractor and hasn’t really settled down either. After losing his mother at a young age, the relationship between him and his father is a bit bumpy. As his father grows older, he makes sure to come home for Christmas.
Christmas in Evergreen starts off fun, with an unexpected meeting between Lisa and Kevin. I loved how they connected from the start and kept running in to each other. Hallmark always makes you happy and this isn’t an exception. It was fun seeing Lisa and Kevin get closer and develop feelings for each other.
Evergreen is a small town and I think my favorite thing about these stories. They always have amazing characters and atmosphere. I loved that everyone wanted to pull together to save the store. Little elements like the letters, the church bells and the mystery key made this story a lot of fun.
If you’re looking for a feel-good and clean romance, definitely pick this one up. Christmas in Evergreen: Letters to Santa put me in the Christmas mood in the middle of a heatwave in July! I’m now counting down the days until Christmas!
