The Immortal Curse series is one I’ve had my eye on for awhile now. A friend of mine is a major fan and that made me buy the first book in the series. This series is being released in two parts now with a bundle with books 1-3 and one with 4-6. This author is also celebrating the release of the sixth book, Angel Bonds.
Thanks to the author and Inkslinger PR, I received an ARC of the two bundles in this series. I have only had time to read and review the first book, Blood Laws, so make sure to keep an eye on the blog for the reviews of 2-6!

REVIEW BLOOD LAWS
Paranormal series can often be hard to start, because you have to dive in a whole new world. I did not have a problem with that while reading Blood Laws. Yes, there are things I would still love information about, but I’m sure that will continue to be revealed throughout the books in this series. From page one I was sucked right in and didn’t want to put this book down!
The author throws us right in the middle of events, but I think that was the perfect way to start. Astasiya’s best friend was just murdered and her world gets turned upside down. She’s not the normal human she thinks she is and her life gets really interesting all of a sudden. Finding out you can become immortal isn’t something someone hears everyday.
Isaac was at the scene of her best friend’s murder, but it shocked when he finds out Astasiya can actually see him. There’s something about this girl that makes him curious and she may be just what he needs to get revenge. If only he didn’t start caring about her more than he’s supposed to.
Two different mythological creatures who can’t see eye to eye and live by very old blood laws. Just being in New York City makes Astasiya have to fear for her life after finding out what she is. Blood Laws is filled with a lot of twists and turns and leaves you not knowing who to trust! For a debut book, this had me on the edge of my seat!
Isaac and Astasiya are so much fun together. Even though he thinks of himself as the alpha in many ways, she doesn’t let him control her every move. She’s sassy and I loved every minute of that. Even if her life is in danger, she’s not going to sit around and let someone control her. Add some major attraction between these two characters and you end up with some very steamy moments!
Besides an unique world, this story isn’t like anything I’ve read before! If you’re looking for a good paranormal romance with some humor, lots of action, twists and turns, amazing characters, some steamy moments and learning about the history of some creatures, definitely pick this one up. There are supposed to be nine books in this series, so I still have plenty to go!
