We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since last January Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic ties in with that of last week, this week is all about Authors I’d Love To Meet. In the last couple of years I’ve had the opportunity to meet some amazing and super kind authors. I’m so grateful for those moments <3 However, there are still quite some of my favorite authors that I’d love to meet. So lets take a look at which authors I’d love to meet.
1. Sarah J. Maas
By now you all probably know how much I love the Throne of Glass series (and like the Court of Thorns and Roses series haha) so it should come as no surprise that I’d love to meet Sarah J Maas. I’m not sure if it will ever happen, but a girl can dream. Maybe next time she comes to London, I’ll try to get a ticket.
2. Leigh Bardugo
I’m super sad I missed her when she was in the Netherlands! The Six of Crows duology is one of my favorites ever and I’d love the chance to meet Leigh. She seems like a great person and I’m expecting to become an even bigger fangirl after King of Scars.
3. VE Schwab
Every book I’ve read by VE Schwab has been a book I adored. I love the worlds she creates and she wrote some of my favorite characters ever. Victoria is so much fun to follow on social media, I also love her honesty online.
4. JK Rowling
I mean, isn’t she going to be on everyones list? Thinking about it now, I don’t think I’ve heard of her doing signings or anything lately so I’m not sure where I would be able to meet her. If I ever get the chance to meet her, I’ll jump on that right away! She created my most favorite books ever and meeting her would be an absolute dream.
5. Laini Taylor
I haven’t read too much from Laini yet, but the books I did read I really loved. There are a couple more on my TBR and I’m expecting to love those as well.
6. Maggie Stiefvater
Maggie created the Raven Boys and I think that’s all I really need to say haha. I would absolutely love to meet her, she seems so cool. It would be amazing if she did a European tour when the Ronan spins off is published and you can bet I’ll be there if that happens.
7. Rainbow Rowell
Fangirl is one of my favorite contemporary novels ever, and Carry On is another favorite. Can’t wait for that Carry On sequel by the way! But I would really love to meet the person who wrote these amazing novels.
8. Susan Dennard
Susan is a newer favorite of mine. After I finally read the first two books in her witchlands series I quickly became a fan. I’m super excited for the third book to come out early 2019 and the series just got picked up for a tv show.
9. Victoria Aveyard
I loved Red Queen but was disappointed with Glass Sword, and I still have to pick up King’s Cage and War Storm. So I wouldn’t necessarily say Victoria is one of my absolute authors, but she seems to be such a nice person and I have a lot of memories attached to Red Queen.
10. Kendare Blake
And last but certainly not least is the author of another favorite series of mine: Three Dark Crowns. I didn’t love Anna Dressed in Blood as much but it was still enjoyable. Basically I just want to meet her because of the very twisted, but super amazing Three Dark Crowns series <3
So these are 10 of the authors I’d love to meet the most! Pretty funny that they’re all women! I must say that 75% of the books I read are written by women so I guess it’s not that surprising. Who would you love to meet? Let me know in the comments!
Ooh I agree about Kendare Blake- I just finished Two Dark reigns and would love to talk all things Fennbirn with her! And I have Six of Crows so Bardugo might be on my list too after I do haha. Rainbow Rowell as well.

Yesss, I need to know more about Fennbirn and would love like a history novellas bind up for this world! Would be amazing to talk to her about all that. Oh yes, once you’ve read Six of Crows Leigh Bardugo will be high up on your list haha! Absolutely one of my favorite books ever.
Meeting JK Rowling would be amazing!
Absolutely!
Oooh I would love to meet J.K Rowling!! And VE Schwab! And Rainbow Rowell!! Great Choices!
Wouldn’t that be a dream come true? I think VE Schwab is the most likely one for me to meet at some point, so fingers crossed!
The ‘Six of Crows’ duo is still on my TBR, but it definitely one I’d really like to read. Hopefully soon!! Hope you can meet Leigh – and everyone on your list, soon. 🙂

Thank you! Six of Crows is so so so good! Hope you’ll get to read them soon.
Laini Taylor is on my list too.
I’m really enjoying Fangirl right now, and I love The Throne of Glass books and the Red Queen series, so I guess Rainbow Rowell, Sarah J. Maas, and Victoria Aveyard would be cool to meet too (Aveyard and I went to the same college too, which is a bonus).
Hope you get a chance to meet some of them someday!
