Bookish Item| Books to Read Before 2018 Update

At the end of September I wrote an article about some of the books I want to read before 2018. It’s been almost two months since then and I thought it would be a good time to let you all know if any progress has been made with my list.

If you want to see the full list of books I want to read before 2018 click here for the full list.

Since writing that first article I have managed to read three of the twelve books on my list, haha. That is only a quarter of the list and to be honest I have the feeling I won’t be finishing this list before the end of the year. I will still try and get a few of them done! I have had the chance to read so many good books lately that some of these have been neglected, haha. But now it’s time to see which three books off my list that I have finally been able to read.

If There’s No Tomorrow – Jennifer L Armentrout

This book kind of had to be read a bit sooner than the rest. We were able to meet Jennifer at the end of October and I really wanted to finish and review this one before the event. It was another amazing book and has a very important message. You can find my review here and if you want to read about us meeting Jennifer click here.

They Both Die at the End – Adam Silvera

I read both More Happy Than Not and Histroy is all You Left Me this year and I head nothing but good things about this book. A lot of people recommended this book and suggested to have tissues ready near the end of the book. These were needed. It was such a beautiful book! Isabelle and I both read this book recently and our review came online last week. To read this review click here.

One Dark Throne – Kendare Blake

This was an anticipated release for both of us and we decided right away this would be a buddy read. Unfortunately it took a bit longer for Isabelle to get her copy of the book, so it took awhile to start reading it. I am happy we finally got a chance to read it though. It was awesome to be able to hop back into that world again. I loved it, but I am not sure how I think of the ending yet. Our review of One Dark Throne will be coming online tomorrow, so keep an eye out!

So those are the three books I have read from my list of books to read before 2018. Hopefully I will be able to read a few more before the end of the year. If not, the beginning of next year, haha. I will keep everyone updated. Do any of you have books to read before the end of the year? I would love to hear about them.
