2026 seems to be the year where we are getting new content in some older series and I’m really excited about all these releases. Let’s take a look at what books are being published and if I plan on reading them soon!

ACOTAR – Sarah J. Maas

We finally got the sixth book in the ACOTAR series and it’s the start of a new story with the characters we know and love. I immediately had to read the book and I’m really excited. ACOTAR was always my least favorite series by Sarah, but I think this new story could be something really cool.

The Naturals – Jennifer Lynn Barnes

I love Jennifer Lynn Barnes and I’m so happy she has gotten more love lately. The Naturals series was always one of my favorites by her and it’s a lot of fun that we are getting a new book in the series. At the moment I’m rereading the original series and then I hope to dive into the new one.

Villains – V.E. Schwab

This might not really count as new content as it’s the final book in the trilogy and we knew that it was coming for a long time. But at the same time, we have been waiting for years and it’s been 13 years since the publication of book 1 haha. The third book, Victorious, was published last month and I can’t wait to dive into it.

Shadowhunters – Cassandra Clare

I didn’t read the last series in the Shadowhunters universe, but the first book in the Wicked Powers trilogy just released and I have been looking forward to that one for years and years. This trilogy is about some of my favorite characters in the whole universe and I’m really curious to see how the overall story will end. I might not read this one immediately, but eventually I will!
