We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The heatwave I talked about during my last Royal Update kept on going and we had our first ever weather warning for extreme heat. I was very thankful for the mobile AC that we bought before the really bad temperatures hit. Needless to say, I didn’t do much, haha.

Last week the temperatures did go down a bit and we went to see the fiancé’s family for the day. It was nice to catch up and have dinner with them. The temperatures are going back up again and I’m so ready for fall…

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added 12 ARCs to my TBR: Hot Girl Murder Club (ALC), Burn Bright, Defy the Dusk, Counting Down to You, A Study in Sparkling, A Trade of Blood, Return to Sender, Such Familiar Magic, Ember (ALC), Once in a Timeline, Wet Ink, and The Way We Become.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Startup Hell, In Every Possible Way, Radiant, Starsight, Rumors & Whiskey, Dearly Departed, and Crown Me Dead.

I’m currently reading: Bromantasy, Twelve Loves of Christmas, and Whiskey Chaser.

Next I’m hoping to read: Crown Me Yours, The Final Score, and Into the Fading Twilight.

Besides my rewatch of One Tree Hill I mentioned last time, I’ve been watching a lot of true crime documentaries on Netflix. There are some good ones on there and definitely some messed up crimes.

For our movie night last weekend, we watched Dog. It was a great movie!

The last few times I’ve been listening to music, I’ve been listening to a Kelly Clarkson playlist. I love her music. I just couldn’t decide on what album to listen to. So now I have a bit of everything.
