Bookish Item| February TBR

Like I said in last month’s TBR, I’ve really been enjoying following my mood and reading what calls to me at that moment. That being said, I still do enjoy making a list of books I’m excited to read at the moment. So keep on reading for my February TBR.

Group Reads

Direbound – Sable Sorensen

Direbound has been all over the place since it released and I really want to know what it’s all about. So we’re reading this dark romantasy for my swoonalong in February. I know this one has trials. That’s something I love in books!

Children of Fallen Gods – Carissa Broadbent

Our series slayers group will be continuing with The War of Lost Hearts trilogy. I haven’t read the first book yet. I’m starting this weekend, so I haven’t read the synopsis yet. I’m hoping I love this series as much as other seem to.

eARCs

February is a busy release month and I have a few eARCs I’m really excited about.

Here Lie All the Boys Who Broke My Heart – Emma Simmerman

The title of this one caught my eye. Our main character is a college senior and her exes start turning up dead. She’s a suspect because she’s written a eulogy for ever boy who breaks her heart. I wonder how this is going to play out.

Only Friends – Lydia San Andres

Only Friends wasn’t on my radar at first, but I saw someone talk about it in a most anticipated releases video and knew I needed to request it. The only thing I know is that an aspiring screenwriter and a gorgeous model team up to make regency era thirst content for online fans. We all know this isn’t going to stay a just friends situation.

Red Star Rebels – Amie Kaufman

I know that Amie Kaufman can write a good young adult science fiction book. Red Star Rebels will be the first I read by her that wasn’t written with another author, but it sounds amazing. Books that are a race against the clock are always exciting. It’ll be interesting to read a story that seems to take place in just 8 hours.

Physical TBR

The Game – Linsey Miller

The Game has been on my shelves for almost 6 years. So it’s time for me to read it, don’t you think? This is a very short YA thriller where a senior class plays a game that turns deadly. It doesn’t have the highest rating on Goodreads, but I’ll still give it a chance.

Misfit – Elle Kennedy

I actually forgot I had this book, haha. Books that take place at prep schools and boarding schools are something I tend to love, so I’m excited to finally get around to reading Misfit. I think this is only a duology?

One Small Thing – Erin Watt

Another book that’s been on my shelves for way too long. I know the first thing I loved about One Small Thing was the cover with the raindrops. One Small Thing seems like it’s going to be an emotional YA romance.

So here are a few of the books on my radar for February. Have you read any of these? Or what are some books you’re hoping to read? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
