It’s Wednesday, so time for a new WWW Wednesday to talk about my reading progress and plans. I really love these posts and talking more about what I’m reading before the monthly wrap up. Even if my reading plans change I like thinking about what I’m going to read!
So it’s time for my next WWW Wednesday. This is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words and you participate by simply answering three questions:
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What are you currently reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What did you recently finish reading?

Alchemy of Secrets – Stephanie Garber
I was really curious about Stephanie Garber’s adult debut and Alchemy of Secrets was an interesting read. Maybe I was expecting more? I feel like this story went really quickly. Which does make sense with her time running out to find something. For me it stayed just a little too much on the surface for me.

In the Dark – Chelsea Curto
Earlier this year, I read Face Off by this author and found one of my favorite sports romances. So of course, I had to read her very first dark romance. I thought it was really sweet that we had a haunted house meet cute. Hunter was way too sweet and protective to do the dark things he did, but I love his connection with Max. This romance was everything I would’ve asked for.
What are you currently reading?

Seven Deadly Thorns – Amber Hamilton
I’m a reader who loves a fake engagement and race against the clock. I do feel like Seven Deadly Thorns is a whirlwind that also has some convenient things happening. I’m enjoying myself, but it’s not pulling me in as much as I had hoped.

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas – Meghan Quinn
How did I not read How My Neighbor Stole Christmas last year? Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and I love Christmas books. As I’m typing this, I’m about 50 pages in, and I’m having a good time. It’ll be fun to see where this enemies to lovers romance goes. I already know I want to move to Kringletown!
What do you think you’ll read next?

Zomromcom – Olivia Dade
I’ll be hosting a chat about Zomromcom this weekend, so it’s up next. Zomromcom is a book I’m looking forward to. Having to survive in a zombie apocalypse with a neighbor you don’t know well, who turns out to be a vampire sounds like an interesting story to me.

Miss Winter in the Library with a Knife – Martin Edwards
So I normally only read holiday romances, but why not throw a Christmas mystery in the mix? I love the game Clue and it basically sounds like that but as a book. I’m really excited to curl up with this one.
So that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week! What have you been reading lately? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
