Since tomorrow is Halloween, I was thinking about the books I would love to read this week. This is the spooky season and I love to read books that go with that vibe. As you might know, I’m not reading that much at the moment, but I hope to read at least one or two books! Let’s take a look!

Every Exquisite Thing – Laura Steven

This is dark academia YA with a bit of horror as well, sounds like a Halloween read to me! I love Laura Steven and I’m really excited to finally read this one. Since I scare pretty easily, I hope to horror isn’t too bad haha.

Alice – Christina Henry

As someone who doesn’t read horror… Here’s another one haha. This is an Alice in Wonderland retelling and I think I will really love this if I can overcome the horror. It’s also not that big, so this could be read in one sitting. I also have to sequel, so I could possibly continue with that one as well.

A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness

I just had to include a witchy novel. This is a really big book and I don’t think it’s a fast read. So I have little hope I will be reading it this weekend, but a girl can dream right? I have seen a couple of episodes of the TV show and I think that might make it easier for me to read it. It did work for me with Game of Thrones!
