TTT # 405| Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is books I wish I could read again for the first time. Some books are just so special you wish you could experience them again for the first time all over again. Let’s take a look at a few I would love to have that experience with.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue was such a special book. I loved the writing and Addie’s circumstances were very interesting. Reading this book for the first time was so special. I will reread this book but I know the very first time will be the best.

Throne of Glass – Sarah J Maas

Throne of Glass is such a special book to me. Not only because I love the story, but it was my beginning in this bookish world. I would love to experience Celaena’s story all over again and just finding my place in the community. Since I started this series, I have read Throne of Glass four or five times.

Metal Slinger – Rachel Schneider

I have to say that Metal Slinger was such a wild ride! The ending is one I never would’ve seen coming. A twist like that is one that’s so interesting to experience and it’d be great to read it all over again. I will say that this went from indie published to traditionally published and I will do a reread to see if things have changed and to look for any foreshadowing to the ending.

Obsidian – Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout was such a good time. There was humor, friendship, romance, betrayal, and a lot of twists. I don’t binge series often, but I couldn’t put these books down.

The House in the Cerulean Sea – TJ Klune

I’ll always describe The House in the Cerulean Sea as a warm hug. The found family element in this story was just so heartwarming. Linus’ world gets opened up so much by the kids at the orphanage he visits. He expects dangerous children and finds so much more.

At the moment I can only think of five books I’d love to read again for the first time. I’m sure there are many more, but I’m blanking at the moment, haha. What are some books you’d love to read again for the first time? Let me know in the comments.
