We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I can’t believe our first week of vacation is already over when this comes online. It’s been nice to have some time off, spend time together, and just relax. We did some shopping and have had some rainy days. Fall is definitely here!

Since my last Royal Update I’ve once again added more eARC/ALCs to my devices. This time I’ve received 7 new approvals: We Met Like This (ALC), Female Fantasy, The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn, Overdue (ALC), Girl Dinner (ALC), Fall at Once, and He Knows When You’re Awake.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: A Condition Called Love Vol. 9, Kiss the Girl, A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping, Rose in Chains, Katabasis, Beautiful Things, A Condition Called Love Vol. 10, The Brave and the Reckless, Lucky Shot, Quicksilver, People Watching, and Nectar of the Wicked.

I’m currently reading Immortal Consequences and Holiday Ever After.

Next I’m hoping to read: Tryst Six Venom, Wild Card, Daydream, and Rewitched.

For one of our recent movie nights, we decided to watch the adaptation of The Thursday Murder Club. I enjoyed what they did with it. I did read the book before watching, so it was clear they did change some things/left things out, but all in all a fun movie.

Ed Sheeran released a new album last Friday, so I had to listen to it. I’m enjoying this one. There’s definitely a mix of songs on there.
