Today’s hobby hub is all about my newest board game. It’s a game about books, so you probably get why I was interested in this one haha. Let’s take a look at this gorgeous game!
A while ago I was browsing Kickstarter when I came across a board game called A Place for All My Books. The game was decently priced and more importantly, there was affordable shipping because they also had a European warehouse! I was sold almost right away and got the deluxe edition for myself.

This game is a bit of a strategic puzzle game perfect for introverted book lovers. You have to collect books in town, but that does cost you energy, and then place them in your ‘house’. By setting the books in certain ways you earn points and at the end the player with the most points wins. The thing that convinced me in the end was the solo player mode. They made some extra stuff so you can also play this game by yourself. I don’t play games with others often enough, so it’s really nice to be able to play a great game like this by yourself. I have been trying to collect more and more games that have a solo mode.

This board game has a gorgeous design and I loved looking at all the pieces. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to play the game yet, but I can’t wait to try it. It all looks so nice and after reading the rules I got even more excited. I think they really thought about the game mechanics and managed to create a pretty unique game. There should be more games geared towards booklovers in my opinion!
Had you heard about this game yet? Did you get it as well? And have you been playing it? I would love to hear from you down below!
