We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I’d like to re-read. I actually really enjoy re-reading, but I don’t let myself do that very often. With so many unread books I’m my shelves, I guess I kind of feel guilty, haha. There are quite a few books I would like to revisit though.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue – V.E. Schwab
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is one of my favorite books. It’s one I’d love to read again for the first time, so I’ll have to go with rereading. This time around I want to go back an annotate my favorite quotes. I know there are a few beautiful ones in this book.

Beach Read – Emily Henry
Beach Read was my first Emily Henry book and I know I loved it, but I want to go back for the little details. And to annotate. That will probably be my reason to reread most of these if I’m honest, haha. I also have heard that the UK edition has a different ending? I may need to pick up a copy to see what that’s all about.

After – Anna Todd
I devoured this series when I first really got obsessed with reading again in 2015. These are filled with a lot of drama, and I’m curious if they hold up for me after everything I’ve read since then.

Metal Slinger – Rachel Schneider
I read Metal Slinger late last year and it was a wild ride! The ending is something I never saw coming. So I want to reread to see if I can see any foreshadowing. Metal Slinger was also traditionally published this year, so I want the bonus chapter and I need to see if anything has been edited.

The Wheel of Time – Robert Jordan
So this series is quite the investment. It actually wasn’t on my radar before the boyfriend suggested it when I finished my book a lot quicker than expected. I was at his house for a few days, so he gave me the first book in the series. This is such a huge series with so many details. I want to see if I can notice any details I didn’t see the first time around.

Caraval – Stephanie Garber
Caraval was such a hyped book when it released and when I read it, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t blown away. I’m not sure if it was the book or just my expectations. Or maybe my obsession with our little kittens at that time. I read the Once Upon a Time trilogy last year and loved it (well the last book was a little bit of a let down), so I want to see if my opinion changes if I read this a second time.

Three Dark Crowns – Kendare Blake
So I read this book in 2017 and read the books as they released. Except for the final book. Which I did have delivered on release day. It’s been seven years since I read Two Dark Reigns and I barely remember anything, haha. I think I need to reread this whole series so I can read the fourth and final book.

One True Loves – Taylor Jenkins Reid
One True Loves was my first book by this author and I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her so far. So once again, this will just be a case of going back and annotating the things I loved. I don’t even think I have a physical copy of this one yet.

Where I Belong – J. Daniels
The Alabama Summer series is a romance series that I loved! I remember reading these with a friend and we were both obsessed. I even own a hoodie that’s based on one of the MMCs. So it’s time for me to own these books physically and annotate as I go.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer – Michelle Hodkin
Another trilogy that I devoured as I got back to reading. I guess this is just another case of I wonder if I’ll love it as much as I did the first time around. This may be a good one for spooky season.
So here are ten books I’m hoping to reread sometime in the near future. I wish the new releases that sound amazing would slow down a bit, haha. Give me a little room to reread! Have you read any of these? Or what books would you love to reread? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.

I hope you enjoy rereading all of these when you get the opportunity.

The Wheel of Time series has been on my TBR forever because of what a time investment it is. Someday I do hope to read it.
OMG! I agree, new releases are killing my rereading game… I wouldn’t have it any other way though. One True Loves is one of my top favorite rereads! I can’t even remember how many times I’ve read this book. Also, I’ve had the Alabama Summer Series by J. Daniels on my want to read shelf for far too long. Someday I will read this series!

Beach Read is an all time favorite of mine! I really need to give it a reread soon.
I could see myself revisiting Beach Read at some point!

I don’t feel guilty when I reread, but I do feel a bit like I’m wasting time that I could be spending on new reads. Most of the time, I’m rereading because I want to move on in a series and I can’t remember what happened in the last book. Sometimes my crap memory really slows me down! LOL. I hope you enjoy all these (again)!
