We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is books I’ve never reviewed. I don’t post full reviews for every book, but I do always talk about everything I’ve read in our monthly wrap ups. So technically there aren’t any books I haven’t reviewed? So I’m going to take the love freebie from last week and talk about a few romance authors I want to try this year.
Giana Darling
So I’ve technically read something by Giana Darling at the end of 2025. When I first started reading and reviewing ARCs, Lessons in Corruption was one of the first books I received to review. Lessons in Corruption was a book I enjoyed, but I believe that I appreciate this genre more than I did then. Giana has published many books since then, but I think I’m going to try Serpentine Valentine first.
Pam Godwin
Sea of Ruin is a book I’ve seen a lot of people talk about and how can I say no to giving a spicy historical pirate romance? At least that’s what people seem to describe this book as. I’m hoping I love Sea of Ruin when I give it a go!
Brittainy C. Cherry
A lot of my romance readers friends have read and loved book by Brittainy C. Cherry. The Air He Breathes is one I’ve seen a lot and I know it was traditionally published last year. I haven’t read the synopsis yet, but I have a feeling it’s going to be very emotional.
Rebecca Jenshak
I want to say that Rebecca Jenshak has written quite a few books, but I’m really curious about her Holland Brothers series of sports romances. Burnout is the first book and has motorcross and gymnastics. I want to say there are four books out now in this series?
Ruth Stilling
Sports romances tend to be some of my favorite romances and I keep seeing the Seattle Scorpions series. Boarded Hearts is the first book and is a hockey romances. Yes, please! I’m hoping I love these. The covers are great!
Keri Lake
Anathema is a book I saw all over the place at the end of last year. If I understand correctly this is a gothic dark fantasy romance? I’m a big fan of those. I’ve been embracing wanting to read bigger books and this one is almost 700 pages.
So I only have six romance authors on my list at the moment, but I’m excited about reading books about all of these. I really hope I find some new favorites. Have you read any of these authors? Or do you have any authors you’re hoping to read from this year? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you!
