We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

The last couple of weeks have actually been pretty busy! The boyfriend and I went to see Lindsey Stirling. After seeing her Christmas show last year, we were really excited about her coming back with the tour for her new album. And wow, she puts on a show! We also got almost an hour of Walk Off the Earth, and I’m a fan. Having a cold made it a bit tiring, but it was a great time.

Other than that I’ve been working and relaxing. The weather has been a bit warmer for this time of year, but the trees are so pretty! Last weekend we had book club, and it was great seeing everyone again. I can’t believe October is almost over!

Since my last Royal Update, I’ve added one new eARC to my Kindle: A Serial Killer’s Guide to Marriage.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve finished reading: Six Scorched Roses, Mr. Heartbreaker, The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore, Incidents Around the House, Only One Coffin, Haunted Ever After, The Roommate Risk, The Wedding Witch, Dead Girls Talking, There Will Come a Darkness, and The Ballad of Never After.

I’m currently reading: Metal Slinger, I’ll Be Gone for Christmas, Death at Morning House, and The Chase.

Next I’ll be reading: Daisy Haites, Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands, and The Striker.

Last week was the boyfriend’s pick for movie night and we watched Brothers. It was funny, but it was also a weird one.

I’ve enjoyed Dean Lewis’ music, so of course I had to listen to his newest music. So The Epilogue has been on repeat when I listen to Spotify!
