One of my ADHD traits is that I buy so many supplies for hobbies that I then hardly use. I’m always super excited about starting with a new (creative) hobby and usually get a ton of supplies haha. Today I want to share some of those hobbies with you all!
Friendship Bracelets
Like almost everybody I had to jump onto the friendship bracelet train. I hadn’t started yet before I finally got a ticket to the Era’s Tour and since I only had a day or 2 before traveling there I didn’t have time to make them before the concert. Ever since I have been planning on making bracelets. I wanted to make some for the Noah Kahan concert I went to for example. But so far I haven’t made any yet haha.
Creative/Junk Journal
I already had a ton of supplies from my bullet journaling days but after seeing a ton of junk journal videos I had to start one too. After watching allllll of the videos I had to order some more stickers and a couple of those tape rollers. Of course I also looked into getting one of those mini printers, but I haven’t decided yet. And that also means I can’t start my journal yet haha (I know that’s not true but that’s just how I feel haha).
Embroidery
This is the one I have been going with for the longest I would say. I started about a year or 2 ago and then put it down for awhile. Earlier this year I started it back up and really liked it so far. Of course now I have a great pair of jeans that is half embroidered because I haven’t finished it or even worked on it for like 4 months or so.
Coloring
This is actually what inspired this post haha. I’m currently looking into getting Ohuhu markers…. While I already own multiple coloring books, I have seen so many cute ones on TikTok and I just have to get a couple new ones.
Talking about these hobbies makes me want to pick them back up right away. Since I do have a week of off work, I hope I get to spend some time with these hobbies! Do you have any (creative) hobbies? I would love to hear about them!
