Since my last Down the TBR Hole I’m not really sure how much I’ve added to my want to read shelf, but I’m not sure that’s a good thing, haha. I do know it’s still necessary for me to do this every two weeks.
Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!
It works like this:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 or 15 or 20, if you’re feeling adventurous) books
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
- Keep track of where you left off so you can pick up there next week!
Current “to-read” shelf: 892 (my last post ended at 886. So 6 new books in two weeks. Same amount as last time. So I’m not really making a dent in this list, haha.)
A Court of Silver Flames – Sarah J. Maas
A Court of Silver Flames is definitely a case of why haven’t I read this book sooner? It’s a big book and I haven’t read many of them lately, haha. I’ve been looking forward to this book, so definitely plan on making time for this soon now that I’ve gotten hooked on reading bigger books.

Legendborn – Tracy Deonn
Legendborn is another book I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about. All I needed to know was magical school and I was sold! The sequel is releasing in November, so this is another book I need to read before then.
Keep
Grace and Glory – Jennifer L. Armentrout
I feel like a broken record, but again how have I not read this one? Grace and Glory is the final book in The Harbinger trilogy. The ending of the second one left me with so many questions. I really feel like this post should just be a new TBR for me, haha.
Keep
The Infinity Courts – Akemi Dawn Bowman
This book has such a stunning cover. The Infinity Courts was a book I saw everywhere near the release. I recently got an e-arc for the sequel from the publisher, so definitely a good motivator. Who knows where you go when you die? This book explores that with a new world. I’m definitely curious.
Keep
The Witch’s Heart – Genevieve Gornichec
The Witch’s Heart is a re-imagining of Norse mythology. I’m always interested in mythology and a friend of mine listened to the audiobook and thought it was really interesting. I have this one on Audible, so I may just need to listen soon.
Keep
Follow Your Arrow – Jessica Verdi
Follow Your Arrow caught my attention when I knew the main characters were social media influencers. I love books that have some type of connection with social media or even e-mails/text messages. Another one I really should’ve read sooner.
Keep
Get Even – Gretchen McNeil
I bought Get Even when I heard it was becoming a Netflix adaptation. It’s been almost two years and I haven’t read the book or watched the show, haha. Mysteries and thrillers are something I’ve been enjoying more lately, so I’ll add this to my TBR in June when I do a thriller month.
Keep
How to Date a Younger Man – Kendall Ryan
Kendall Ryan is an author I really enjoy and definitely seek out when I need a fast and fun romance. She has quite a few books I haven’t read yet including How to Date a Younger Man. I’m sure I’ll eventually read it, but at the moment I’m in the middle of so many romances that this one is being taken off the list for now.

In Deeper Waters – F.T. Lukens
I know we’re not supposed to judge books by their covers, but I definitely did with In Deeper Waters. Look at how stunning it is!! I’m currently reading this author’s next book So This Is Ever After and I’m really enjoying it. In Deeper Waters also sounds amazing, so I’m keeping this one around.
Keep
Bruised – Tanya Boteju
Bruised is the first book on this list that I don’t remember adding to it. That’s pretty good for me, haha. This book sounds emotional and interesting, but it’s not one I have at the moment and don’t know when I’ll be picking it up. So for now I’m taking it off my list.

I didn’t do very well this week, but in all honesty there were a lot of amazing books this week. Have you read any of these? If so, let me know what you think. What book should I start with first? I’d love to hear your suggestions!
In Deeper Waters is such a great and fun books so you keeping it is a very good decision!
I keep meaning to look into “In Deeper Waters” because I am loving the cover too!
ACOSF is on my list of “why haven’t I read this?!” too. I’m going to check out In Deeper Waters because that cover is gorgeous!
