Royal Update #110

We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

To be honest I still don’t really have anything exciting to talk about here, haha. The boyfriend and I did book a cabin for 5 days at the beginning of March, so I’m really excited for that. Other than that it’s been really rainy here. I’ve been hanging around the house, working, and finally cuddling with Shasta who is becoming a lap cat.

Okay, these past two weeks have been nuts when it comes to incoming e-arcs. I have some for TBR and Beyond Tours and some that I requested. They all sound interesting though!

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: The Awakening, Daisy Jones and The Six, Only a Monster, Weather Girl, Revenge of the Beast, Across a Field of Starlight, All the Feels, and Reminders of Him.

I’m currently reading: Ruthless Fae, Caraval (re-read), No Judgements, The Accidental Apprentice, Delilah Green Doesn’t Care, and The Fastest Way to Fall.

This week I’ll be starting: Court, All the Right Reasons, and Now That I’ve Found You.

I have one cover reveal to share this week that I really love. This book releases in December and it definitely one I need to read!

No new items to mention for the shopping log this week!

There are two things I watched recently that I want to talk about. Last weekend I watched Encanto after hearing so many amazing things about it. This movie did not disappoint at all and the soundtrack was amazing.

Also, a new crime documentary The Tinder Swindler hit Netflix last week and I normally don’t watch things like that, but it sounded interesting. I’m always amazed at what people do for money and how they get away with it. It’s truly awful!

As I just mentioned I watched Encanto and it was such a good movie! I loved the story and the soundtrack and have been enjoying the songs since watching. I’ll be re-watching this one in the future.

So this is my Royal Update for this week. How have you been? Read or watch anything you can’t stop thinking about? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear from you.

  1. Wow, you sure have a lot of reading going on. So many great books. I got a lot of ARC’s from NetGalley last week also. I loved Daisey Jones and the Six, and Weather Girl. And I loved Reminders of Him. Happy Reading!
