Bookish Item | Books I’ve Reread in 2025

While I have been rereading more and more in the past couple of years, this year seems to take the cake! I recently talked about rereading with a coworker and he was so surprised that was even a thing. This prompted me to count how many books I reread this year…. Turns out it is over half of all the books I read in 2025 haha. I reread 36 books so far, so let’s take a look at the ones I reread this year!

Fourth Wing & Iron Flame – Rebecca Yarros

I started the year with a reread of Fourth Wing and Iron Flame to get ready for Onyx Storm. It was nice getting all the details fresh in my mind before diving into Onyx Storm! Usually I have forgotten so many things and characters haha, not this time!

Harry Potter 1-7

Whenever I have trouble sleeping, I like to put on an audiobook with a sleep timer. I usually pick a book I know really well and I started the year off with a Harry Potter reread to fall asleep to.

All For the Game 1-4 – Nora Sakavic (3 times!)

I started my first reread of the All For the Game series of the year to get ready for the release of The Golden Raven. That was my ebook reread. Later in the year I got myself the audiobooks, so of course I had to do another reread. And the past week I needed a new audiobook to fall asleep to and that turned into another All For the Game obsession haha. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!

Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom – Leigh Bardugo

I think I did a reread of Six of Crows last year as well, but I’m not completely sure. However, I felt like diving back into this world and I had a lot of fun with it. This duology is a great mix of feelings and pure fun. I adore the characters and love Kaz’ schemes.

King of Scars & Rule of Wolves – Leigh Bardugo

After reading both Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom I just couldn’t stop. I wanted to stay in this world a little bit longer. And since this duology follows a couple of my favorite characters in both this world and just in general, I had to keep on going. I really love this duology and I’m still bitter Netflix cancelled Shadow & Bone. We could’ve had such an amazing tv show with tons of seasons.

Throne of Glass 0.5-7 – Sarah J. Maas

My year isn’t complete without a Throne of Glass reread. I have reread this series every year for at least the last 5 years now I think. It is simply my favorite series of all time and I have cried so many tears over these characters. Every time I reread these books I still find something new and I love it.

Crescent City 1-3 – Sarah J. Maas

This time around I also wanted to reread Crescent City. I came across some fun TikTok’s and I just had to dive in. It had been a while since I last read these books and while I remembered most of the story, I loved experiencing it all over again. I can’t wait for a new Sarah J. Maas book!

These are the books I reread in 2025. I might add a couple more in the coming month, but either way, this was a great year for rereading haha. Hopefully I can also read a couple more ‘new’ books before the end of the year.
