We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Last week we went on school camp, it was really fun but also a lot with 130 kids haha. Beforehand I know it will be fun, but I’m also a it hesitant as I know how tiring it all can be haha. Especially with not being in the best physical condition, I just know I will have to take care of myself and I’m not great at that haha. Luckily I have some amazing coworkers how do take care of me and we had a blast. Unfortunately I did get sick afterwards, I’m currently in my bed with a fever. But as a friend said; at least you have to slow down now. I guess that is what I’ll be doing the coming days as I have a week off work.

I got one new very exciting eARC; Graceless Heart by Isabel Ibañez, a standalone fantasy set in Renaissance Italy with forbidden magic.

With work being busy and me being a bit sick, all I have been reading is the rest of the Throne of Glass series. I’m still doing my reread through the audiobooks, but I’m close to being finished as I’m on the final book. Next up might be Alchemised by SenLinYu, I’m really curious to see how the story changed from the fanfic.

After finishing Grimm I continued watching Bosch and I started watching Castle. I can’t believe I never watched that show!

Obviously I’m still listening to The Life of a Showgirl on repeat haha. I adore this Taylor Swift album and so far I couldn’t get enough of it yet.
