We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

And that is the end of my summer vacation! I have spend the last two weeks in France and I loved it. My parent’s house over there is the perfect spot to relax. I had time in the pool, read a bunch, did some creative stuff, drank wine, eat great food, spend time with people I adore and had a simply wonderful summer. Today I’m back at work, it’s time to get my classroom ready so the kids and I can have a good start on September 1st.

No new eARC’s this week, but I am reading one after my 2025 eARC’s post haha! Which one do you think I started with?

I finished Automatic Noodle and figured it was time I finished some other books as well. So I read Pole Position and Finlay Donovan is Killing It. I also picked up two other books; SpyxFamily vol. 5 and The Deal. And now I’m trying to decide which book I’m reading next, it will be one of the eARC’s I talked about earlier.

I haven’t watched a single thing in France! Now that I’m back home, I’m sure I will be bingeing a lot of stuff again haha. But for now I haven’t watched anything.

I’m sure you’ve heard Taylor Swift has announced her next album, so of course I’m extremely excited for that. But Florence and the Machine also announced a new album and the single is out already! So I have been listening to that <3

And that was my Royal Update for the week! After 5 wonderful weeks it’s back to work. Hopefully I can be mindful of my rest this school year and have enough time to do all the things I love!
