Down the TBR Hole #136

Once again I’m working ahead and I just finished my previous Down the TBR Hole post a few days ago, so again nothing has changed since my last post.

Down the TBR Hole was originally created over at Lost in a Story. This meme is now being hosted by Jody from I’m Into Books. It looked like a fun and productive way to finally make a dent in that Goodreads TBR. I went through my want-to-read shelf a little while ago but I think I was still to kind on a lot of books. Let’s see what I’ll make of it this time around. I decided to go with 10 books at a time so lets get started!

Review | And Then There Were None – Agatha Christie

I really liked the Agatha Christie book I’ve read before and I have always been interested in reading more. My mom owns quite a lot of them and as a mystery lover they are a must read. After seeing And Then There Were None mentioned in a Youtube video, I decided to just go for it and I listened to the audiobook. And today I want to share my thoughts with you all, so let’s dive in!

TTT #359| Books I Read/Avoided Because of the Hype

We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week’s topic is Books I Read/Avoided Because of the Hype. Hyped books are always something I’m iffy about. It definitely increases my expectations. That works out at times, but can also make me disappointed. Let’s talk about some hyped books that I’ve read!

5 On My TBR | City Setting

As we’ve mentioned before, one of our most important reading goals of is shrinking our physical TBR’s. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books we still have or what subjects to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.

This week’s topic is City Setting. I read a lot of fantasy and most of those aren’t set in a city. But I do have a couple books that come to mind right away. I’m optimistic that I can find 5 books with a city setting on my shelves. Let’s see if I was right! Continue reading “5 On My TBR | City Setting”
