I can’t believe I’m already thinking about what I want to read the last month of this year! In many ways 2020 has flown by, but it’s also gone by incredibly slow. Hopefully 2021 turns out to be an amazing for everyone! But first let’s talk about what I want to read next month in my December TBR!
It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for another book tag! I was looking for a fun book tag to do while I was watching Sims 4 youtube video’s and that’s when I found the Sims Book Tag. Seems like a very appropriate tag for me to do since I’ve been playing a lot of Sims again haha. This tag was created by one of my favorite booktubers; Hailey in Bookland. I’m super excited so let’s jump right in! Continue reading “Tag | The Sims Book Tag”
I’ve really been enjoying the collection of middle grade books I’ve been reading this year and love that TBR and Beyond Tours has tours for these books as well. The Tigers in the Tower is one of these book that is out today! Today for my spot on the tour I had the chance to send some interview questions to the author, so keep on reading to find out what I asked and how she answered! And of course, to find out a bit more about the book.
We wanted to do another bookish meme on Wednesday and after doing Can’t Wait Wednesday a few times we decided that would be a fun one to bring around more often! About twice a month you’ll see this meme on our blog.
Can’t-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we’re excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they’re books that have yet to be released. It’s based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. Continue reading “Can’t Wait Wednesday | Bridge of Souls – Victoria Schwab”
We have been having fun with Top Ten Tuesday, so we decided we will do one every week. This bookish meme was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, and has been going since June 2010! Since January 2018 Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week’s topic is characters I’d name a pet after. That one just didn’t really speak to me when I sat down to write this post, so I decided to choose the topic Super Long Book Titles. Let’s take a look and see if I’m able to find ten book titles that are really long!
A couple of weeks ago we started doing the 5 On My TBR bookish meme and it was a lot of fun, so we want to bring this meme to the blog more regularly! This bookish meme is hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. This week’s prompt is Black Covers. I actually have a lot of books with black covers and a ton of those I really want to read as soon as possible haha. Let’s see which ones I picked. Continue reading “5 On My TBR | Black Covers”
We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
I knew when we participated in the cover reveal for Born at Dawn that it was going to be a book I wanted to read. Luckily, TBR and Beyond Tours is also hosting a book tour for it as well. As a fan of fantasy, this one sounded right up my alley. Today I want to tell you about this book. I’m currently reading it and loving it, but I’m in a bit of a slump and having a harder time really sitting down to read. Hopefully that changes soon!
A big thanks to the author for providing me with an e-arc to read and review.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen the second season of The Umbrella Academy but I still wanted to share my thoughts! I watched the first season pretty soon after the release date but it took me awhile to start watching the second season. Once I did start watching though…. Let’s jump in ;).
There will be spoilers for the first season. Continue reading “Show Sunday | The Umbrella Academy Season 2”
I read Kingdom of the Wicked at the beginning of October (I was luck enough to get an e-arc from the publisher on Netgalley) and I could’ve sworn I had already written a review. When I wrote my October wrap up, I realized that wasn’t the case. So today it’s time to review this new book by Kerri Maniscalco. What did I think? Keep on reading to find out!
