We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

Last week I went on a ski trip with 4 of my coworkers. It was so much fun! The first two days I snowboarded, not a success haha. After my private lessons, I wasn’t prepared for the horrible weather conditions we got and I literally fell down a 100 times and even took a break to sit down and cry. But on the third day I got skis and it was all smooth sailing from there haha. We played games and went to a couple of parties and laughed a LOT, we also got a picture with one of my favorite Dutch artists so that was fun.

While I didn’t read much, I did finish Wildcard (finally haha), The Sunshine Court and another volume of Haikyu. I’m debating if I want to pick up Dune for a reread or if I should do another reread of Throne of Glass (yes I know I literally just finished my reread of that series). And of course I’ll be reading more Haikyu, I actually got 8 more new volumes so I can read a couple more.

I’ve started catching up on some series, first one was Will Trent. Of course I’ve also been watching Haikyu, but I’ve now caught up (or almost) to the point where I’m at in the manga so I have to wait until I can continue watching it.

I’m sorry (well, not really haha), but I’m still listening to The Tortured Poets Department non stop. There are so many amazing songs and I could totally do a new ranking that would for sure be different haha.
