We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I had another busy week at work and spent the evenings cozy at home with a book or I watched bookish videos on YouTube, haha. On Saturday I had my monthly book club and visited the bookstore after that. That always makes me happy! It was great seeing everyone as well.

Since my last Royal Update I’ve added two eARCs to my Kindle: This Used to Be Us and Dance of the Starlit Sea.

Since my last Royal Update I finished reading: Meet the Benedettos, The Crimson Moth, Runaway Love, Bunny (DNF), Happily Never After, First Down, and The Boyfriend Subscription.

I’m currently reading: The Sword of Kaigen, The Well of Ascension, Sword Catcher, Powerless, and The Veiled Kingdom.

Next I’m hoping to read: The Poppy War, Yours Truly, and If Only I Had Told Her.

Last weekend we watched Inside Out during our movie night. I have already seen this one, but it was fun watching it again. There is a sequel releasing later this year that I’m excited about.

I haven’t listened to Beyonce’s music in quite some time. I just personally didn’t care for the last few albums she released. I was really curious when I saw that she was releasing a country album. I listened to Cowboy Carter and I was pleasantly surprised.
