We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!
I’ve had two weeks with a lot of ups and downs! Some of the ups include getting another snowboard lesson (and getting a lot better already), celebrating a friends birthday with a lot of drinks, having lunch with my incredible and super supportive friends and playing hide and seek inside the schoolbuilding with the kids in group 8 after they finished an important test. I loved playing hide and seek and was running towards a hiding place, giggling like a little kid. Honestly, I’m still smiling thinking about it haha.
Some of the downs had to do with how I’ve been feeling about myself, failing to take good care of myself (but another up was all the friends that have been reminding me off all the positive things about me) and having a super busy time at work trying to finish the reports for the kids before this thursday.
No new eARC’s this time around!
I finished House of Sky and Breath, so of course I am currently reading House of Flame and Shadow. It is incredibly enjoyable but I’m not reading as fast as I would like so it might take me awhile to finish it. I also read Diary of a Romantica vol. 1, it’s a great poetry collection. At the moment I’m also listening to the audiobook of Fire Falling.
I found a great deal on Humble Bundles for 7 games. This cost me €10 and I got 7 games that are worth like €140 normally. So that is a great deal! I can’t wait to play all of these.
I have been keeping up with Percy Jackson and I have binged Mare of Easttown. What an incredible show! I haven’t been watching a lot lately, but I would love some recommendations, so if you have any please tell me so in the comments.
I listen to a lot of music and I’m always looking for new finds. One I found recently is the album Life’s a bitch… but it gets better by Taela. And I have been loving it! I would recommend checking her music out.
And that was my Royal Update for the week! What have you been up to this past week? Let me know in the comments!
