As I’ve mentioned before, one of my important reading goals of 2023 is shrinking my physical TBR. Sometimes it’s hard to think of what books I still have or subjects I want to read about. So we needed a way to keep track of this. 5 On My TBR is a way of keeping track. This is a meme hosted by E from Local Bee Hunter’s Nook. Every week there’s a different prompt for five on my TBR.
This week’s topic is part of a series. One of my goals this year is to finish more series, so this is a good topic. I definitely have more than five books for this topic. I’ll choose the books I’m hoping to read really soon!
Ricochet – Krista & Becca Ritchie
The Addicted series is one I’ve seen all over bookstagram and booktube. This series is very long, so I’ve been hesitant to give it a go. I read Addicted to You last year and it took me by surprise. It’s time for me to continue the series and I added Ricochet to my shelves this month. I’m excited to see where Lily and Lo’s story goes.
Golden Son – Pierce Brown
Red Rising is another very hyped series. I read the first book last summer and need to get to Golden Son. The way things ended I need to know what’s going to happen to Darrow. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of twists and turns.
The Night in Question – Kathleen Glasgow & Liz Lawson
The Agathas was a great YA mystery. It was over 400 pages, but didn’t feel like it at all. So I was pleasantly surprised we got a sequel. I actually had an eARC of The Night in Question, but didn’t get to it on time and I now own the paperback. It’s definitely high on my to read really soon list.
By the Book – Jasmine Guillory
Late last year I read If the Shoe Fits (a Cinderella retelling) and the first book in the Meant to Be series. I really enjoyed it and I want to continue with the retellings. Each book in this series is written by a different author. By the Book is Beauty and the Beast retelling.
Heartless – Elsie Silver
I remember seeing the Chestnut Springs everywhere and it getting so much love after every book released. I’m always a bit hesitant with hyped books, but they sounded too good not to try. I read Flawless last year and was hooked from the start. So of course, I added the rest of the series to my Christmas wishlist. Heartless is up next and I loved Cade in the first book. I’m excited for his story!
So here are five books that are part of a series on my TBR! Have you read any of these? Or what are some books that are part of series on your TBR? Let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.
