Wishlist Wednesday| Most Anticipated February 2024 Releases

With only about a week left in January, it’s time to start looking at what books are coming our way in February! As usual we love making a list of our most anticipated releases, so keep on reading to find out what we’re excited for that’s coming next month!

The Tainted Cup – Robert Jackson Bennett (February 6th)

A fantasy with a mystery as it’s plot, sign me up! It’s also been compared to Knives Out, one of my favorite movies. The early reviews are great and I think this might just be the book for me.

If Only I Had Told Her – Laura Nowlin (February 6th)

Last year I read If He Had Been with Me last year and it was definitely the emotional roller coaster everyone said it was. If Only I Had Told Her is written in three perspectives and I’m curious to see how this will play out.

Bride – Ali Hazelwood (February 6th)

Ali Hazelwood is an author I’ve loved so far. Her romances are ones I tend to fly through. Bride is her first paranormal romance between a Vampyre bride and an Alpha Werewolf. That’s all I know honestly and I’m going to keep it that way.

At First Spite – Olivia Dade (February 13th)

Olivia Dade wrote Spoiler Alert and I loved that book. I also enjoyed the other two books in that trilogy, so I’m excited to see where her next series takes us. I believe this is a romance between our main character and her ex-fiancee’s brother. So this will be interesting!

Fangirl Down – Tessa Bailey (February 13th)

Tessa Bailey is a romance author that tends to be hit or miss for me, but the last few books I’ve read by her I’ve enjoyed. Fangirl Down is a golf romance and that’s all I really know. There have been some good reviews, so I have high hopes for this one.

An Education in Malice – S.T. Gibson (February 13th)

A dark academia tale of blood, secrets and insatiable hungers, honestly I think that’s all I needed to hear. It has sapphic vampires so that’s another plus but it is also tagged as horror so I might chicken out haha.

A Tempest of Tea – Hafsah Faizal (February 20th)

A criminal mastermind with a tearoom that’s also an illegal bloodhouse who get’s caught up in a heist with vampires. I am intrigued! The early reviews are also amazing so I have really high hopes for this one.

Heartless Hunter – Kristen Ciccarelli (February 20th)

I really enjoyed Kristen Ciccarelli’s The Last Namsara and since this is about a witch and a witchhunter I’m obviously interested. It sounds like there is enemies to lovers and I find that very hard to resist.

We Got the Beat – Jenna Miller (February 20th)

Last year I loved Out of Character, so I was very excited when the author announced We Got the Beat. Our main character through herself in to journalism when her best friend turned into an enemy. When things don’t go as planned and she’s assigned the volleyball team when her former best friend is captain, they’re forced to spend time together.

Lore of the Wilds – Analeigh Sbrana (February 27th)

Besides wanting to read more fantasy this year, I figured I should read more romantasy as well. Lore of the Wilds is one that really caught my eye. Besides the romance side of this story, the synopsis talks about an enchanted library. Do I really need to know more?

A Fate Inked in Blood – Danielle L. Jensen (February 27th)

A Norse inspired fantasy that seems heavy on the romance. The early reviews are really positive, especially by readers who already enjoy Danielle L. Jensen’s work.

Tender Beasts – Liselle Sambury (February 27th)

A mystery thriller (that is also tagged as horror) perfect for fans of Ace of Spades so I feel like this might be for me. The main character has to solve the murder at her private school to clear her brother’s name. Can’t wait to find out what happens next!

The Partner Plot – Kristina Forest (February 27th)

Last year I really enjoyed The Neighbor Favor, so I’m excited for the next book in this series. The Partner Plot is a second chance romance and a marriage of convenience. These two high school sweethearts get drunk and wake up married. When they realize it could benefit them both, but what will happen when feeling resurface?

So those are our most anticipated February releases! What books are you looking for? Did we miss any you think we need to know about? Let us know in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
