With two more weeks to go in 2023 I have a little time left to reach my reading goals. I have reach 2 goals, will never reach one and have 2 more that might still be doable. So let’s see which books I hope to read these upcoming weeks to reach those goals!
Darkdawn – Jay Kristoff
With this one I can finish a fifth series, read another big book and cross one more book of my physical TBR. I have started this one already and should really get back to it, I have about 3,5 hours left with the audiobook. It should be easy enough to finish this one!
Wildcard – Marie Lu
I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get to this one but it would be nice! It’s the second book in a duology so it could be the one to finish a sixth series. I can’t believe there might be an actual chance for me to reach my goal of finishing series! This is a sci-fi story and I really like those, so maybe I can get myself in the mood for is. It will also help with crossing books of my physical TBR.
Haikyu 13-16 – Haruichi Furudate
After finishing those 6 series I would love to try and end the year with a TBR that’s smaller than I started the year with. I own 4 more manga in the Haikyu series and they read super easy. It would probably take me 2 days max to finish all 4 of them. I adore the series and I can’t wait to read some more of it.
Monstress vol. 4 – Marjorie M. Liu & Sana Takeda
If my calculations are correct reading this fourth volume of the Monstress graphic novel series will drop my physical TBR one below the start of the year count. This is one I could read right before New Year’s Eve and still finish it haha. I would love to finally reach this goal and I’m excited to continue this series.
So I might be delusional but I definitely think I can finish these books in the next 14 days. This Friday I start my Christmas vacation so I will have some more time to read. Hopefully I will have finished Darkdawn by then and well on my way with some of the others. What reading goals are you trying to reach in these next two weeks? Let me know in the comments!
