I loved loved loved Peaky Blinders and was of course super excited to watch season 6 when it finally aired. It took me about a year but last week I finally finished the sixth and final season. So of course I wanted to share my thoughts with you all so let’s dive in!
Season 6 is the final season of the show, although there have been talks about a movie for awhile now. This final season has 6 episodes like the previous ones. Episodes are about an hour long, except for the final episode which is 80 minutes long.
The sixth season continues the story from the fifth season. There is a rift in the family and Tommy still has to deal with his political problems.
I will say this is my least favorite storyline out of all the seasons. It pits some of my favorites against each other and there just can’t be a satisfying conclusion to the political problems because of when in time we are and what will happen next.
While this was my least favorite storyline, it was once again really well done. I loved watching it a lot and I already want to rewatch the whole show. These characters are amazing and the show has gorgeous scenery. I also loved the surprise popup of a beloved character.
Overall I adore this show and enjoyed this final season but I didn’t love how it all ended. Not everything was wrapped up, or it was wrapped up in a way I didn’t love. I truly hope we’ll get that movie as it would hopefully give us a more satisfying ending.
Have you watched Peaky Blinders? And did you watch the final season? What did you think of it? Did you like the ending? I would love to hear from you in the comments down below!
I haven’t read Peaky Blinders or even heard of it. Six seasons is a pretty good run for a show 🙂
