We thought it was time for a fun new post every week. In the Royal Update one of us updates you about our personal life, bookish news, what we’re reading, watching and listening to and anything else that might apply to this post. We thought it would be fun to share a bit more about our personal lives and hope you think so too!

I have been sick the past two weeks and have just been working and sleeping to be honest. These weeks have been really busy at work, we had parent-teacher meetings and a lot of extra things to do during the day. Next week we celebrate ‘Sinterklaas’ so I had to make a ‘surprise’. And I decided to go all out so the one I made has a working elevator made out of paper haha. I put a lot of effort in it and it still doesn’t look great but I hope I’ve made the person I got happy with it. We shall see this Tuesday!

I’m not completely sure if I shared this one before or not so just in case I’ll do so now. My latest eARC was Till Death Do Us Bard by Rose Black. It sounds like a cute fantasy story and I’m excited to read it.

I’m close to finishing my reread of House of Earth and Blood and will probably dive right into the sequel. That way I might just be done with my rereads before the third book releases haha.

I finally finished watching Loki! What a great ending to a great show. I also watched more of the last season of Peaky Blinders. And I watched some movies; A Haunting in Venice, the Jennifer Lopez movie Marry Me, and the Taylor Swift Miss Americana documentary.

I’m listening to either Taylor Swift or Noah Kahan to be honest haha. You probably won’t be surprised to hear they’re at the top of my Spotify Wrapped this year ;). I even made it to the top 1% Taylor Swift listeners haha.
