As you might know, I’m a Marvel fan. And my favorite Marvel character by far is Loki. So of course I watched the Loki show on Disney+. This year we finally got the second season. And since I was hardly watching anything at all it took me a bit to get to it. But this past week I finished the show! And of course I wanted to share my thoughts. So let’s get into it!

The mercurial villain Loki resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”

The second season of Loki has 6 episodes and they’re all about 50 minutes. This is second season starts a little bit after the events of the first season. It becomes clear what the consequences of that ending are and I didn’t know where we would go to be honest.

I adore this show because I adore Loki and I will watch anything he is in. And I’ve also come to love the other characters in here, especially O.B. and Mobius. Loki’s relationship with Mobius is so wholesome and I could watch hours and hours of them interacting. I also came to loathe some other characters! Without spoiling anything I will say Miss Minutes scared the hell out of me.

What I didn’t expect was for the story to be this good. Especially the last two episodes! I yelled out loud so much during those episodes and absolutely shed a tear or two. No one is save and I was really surprised by some of the twists. This season was so incredibly well done and I wish I could experience it for the first time again. It also got me really excited for the Marvel universe again and now I’m debating wether I should rewatch everything or if I should start with all the shows and movies I still haven’t seen yet haha.

I’m afraid there won’t be a third season and that is such a shame. But at the same time, the show runners said they treated this as the end of this story and it is a really well done ending so I can’t be too mad unfortunately.
